We would like to announce one of the best Active Open Tournaments in the world (40.000 euros in prizes), which will be held in Christmas. Can you add this information in your official web? If we have some success this year I'm sure next year we will organise some Organisers and Presidents of Federation meeting and we will invite you to Leon. I would appreciate your collaboration.  

I Chess World Open in Leon (Spain). Leon city is in the north west of Spain, 3 hours from madrid, 3 hours from Bilbao, and also has international airport (in some months RyanAir will be stablished).

Dates: 26 December (17.00 pm 1st round), 27 december and 28 december (14.00 pm last round)

Games: 40 minutes per player + 3/5 additional seconds.

During tournament we will have 2 international Grandmasters which will attend all the participants and solve some doubts about the games played in the tournament.

Chess great legends as Jussupow, Korchnoi, Ljubojevic, Beliavsky, Portisch, Gligoric will be the players invited by the Organisation.
